Bottom 8th, Lane leads off with a double, Belisario comes in to pinch run for Lane. Due to an error on a sac bunt, UConn gets runners on the corners. Shpur with a fielders choice ground out for the 1st out that brings in a run, 8-3 UConn.

Daniels follows with a 1 out single that puts runners on the corners. Minick drives in a run with a fielders choice ground out for the 2nd out. 9-3 UConn.

Minick steals 2B, this is followed by walks by Dougherty and Biller to load the bases. Padilla is hit by a pitch which brings in a run, 10-3 UConn.

That is it for the UConn offense this inning.

Garbowski comes in to catch for UConn. Belisario takes over at 2B.

Seems that Cooke is just recovering from his back injury which he had in the last game he was in, that might have something to do with him not getting the Sunday start. Coach Penders does refer to the injury in the postgame interview.
