We all better get the rosary beads out for P-Wink!

Langer is back-up catcher moving forward.

Top 1st, Casparius gives up 2 singles and strikes out 3 batters. No score.

Christian Fedko has been mentioned in prior broadcasts as the other potential back up catcher.

Georgetown is throwing two lefty starters during this series, so I imagine Morton will also get a start against the other lefty. I would think Ben Maycock will start against the right handers.

My wife and I had our second Covid vaccine shots today, so I'm hoping I don't nod off while typing something during the games this weekend.

Bottom 1st, UConn goes down in order.

Of course, even if I do nod off it might make just as much sense as what I usually post.

Top 2nd, Casparius strikes out the side, this time in order. 6 strikeouts so far on the game for Casparius.

Chris Jones says that due to the shoulder injury, Kevin Ferrer is unable to really throw a ball, so he can't play the outfield. Ferrer can hit, and does pick up a two out double in the bottom of the 2nd. Chris Winkel follows with a hit by a pitch. Chris Brown single drives in a run to make it 1-0. Runners on the corners. Chris Winkel steals home to make it 2-0.
