100% agree.
Why steal 3rd if you're already on 2nd. Why stretch a double into a triple (not this game). I wonder what our SB success rate is. Feels like below 50%.

Spot on. I know I've seen guys that would have scored if they just hadn't stolen a base, or ended an inning when you're already in scoring position. Sometimes, less is more.

The next batter Polemeni gets hit by a pitch, with no outs Righi draws a walk to load the bases, Minick follows with a single driving in a run and leaving the bases loaded. 2-1 UConn.

A sac fly by Marshall for the 1st out moves up all the runners up a base and brings in another run. 3-1 UConn.

Wachter follows with a sac fly that moves up both runners for the 2nd out. 4-1 UConn.
