Just wondering why UConn would be the BE Champs if Creighton sweeps G'town? They would have identical records, but Creighton won their head to head 2-1.

I would think that if UConn and Creighton were tied for 1st at the end of the season that Creighton would get the No. 1 seed in the Big East Tourney due to winning the series against UConn. Still, I would think at this point UConn is in pretty good shape at getting into the NCAA Tourney, but we will see how things go in the last 4 regular season games and the Big East Tournament for UConn.

Not a hard concept. If two teams tie for the regular season championship, they tie for the regular season championship. Period. Head to head record is used to determine which of the co-champions gets the #1 seed in the tournament, but it doesn’t make one champion and one runner up. If Creighton wins out, there are two teams at 17-4 that would be co champs.
