Dunlop looks solid so far
Dunlop looks solid so far
I would take Dunlop out and go Wurster - Dunlop has done enough today. BC has hit him a little bit but Dunlop has made clutch pitches / gotten some great defense behind him.
Anybody have a pitch count on Dunlop?I'd like to see Dunlop at least start the 6th. He really hasn't thrown that many pitches today.

Not showing the pitch count is the one failing of the UConn game tracker system. However, at one point last inning I believe Chris Jones said that Dunlop was in the 40's.
Another fantastic midweek start by Dunlop. It is nice to know he is an option come AAC tournament and NCAA time.
My bad only 2 out
1-2-3 inning for Wurster
First, you're about a minute and a half ahead of my radio feed. Are you at the park?
Uconn pitching depth with both the starters and the bullpen is developing quite nicely this season. Just don't have the same quality yet without the combo of Cate and Feole, and some of the other weekend starters UConn has had in recent years.
I agree - but with this depth- during the regular season - if Kersten doesn't pitch better he could lose his slot on the weekend to Haus or Dunlop . Tournament time, in all the years I have followed UConn baseball, I don't remember having 5 viable starters for tournament time AND 5 trusted relievers.
Shades of the Virginia game. Please God, no.Offense has been abysmal since the first inning...
