UConn v. Boston College @ J.O.C. (3/27/19 @ 3p)

Top 5th, Dunlop faces the minimum helped out by a double play. 3-1 UConn.

I would take Dunlop out and go Wurster - Dunlop has done enough today. BC has hit him a little bit but Dunlop has made clutch pitches / gotten some great defense behind him.

I'd like to see Dunlop at least start the 6th. He really hasn't thrown that many pitches today.

Anybody have a pitch count on Dunlop?

Not showing the pitch count is the one failing of the UConn game tracker system. However, at one point last inning I believe Chris Jones said that Dunlop was in the 40's. Considering double plays and BC runners thrown out on the bases today, I can believe it. Dunlop has only faced 18 hitters in 5 innings.

I love that it shows ERA's and averages, but yeah, it does not even list balls and strikes let alone pitch count.

New pitcher for BC. 1 on, 2 out for UConn.

Another fantastic midweek start by Dunlop. It is nice to know he is an option come AAC tournament and NCAA time.

Uconn pitching depth with both the starters and the bullpen is developing quite nicely this season. Just don't have the same quality yet without the combo of Cate and Feole, and some of the other weekend starters UConn has had in recent years.

First, you're about a minute and a half ahead of my radio feed. Are you at the park?

If you stream it even from the WHUS website rather than listen to it on the radio, it is slower. I've found that out in in the past.

I agree - but with this depth- during the regular season - if Kersten doesn't pitch better he could lose his slot on the weekend to Haus or Dunlop . Tournament time, in all the years I have followed UConn baseball, I don't remember having 5 viable starters for tournament time AND 5 trusted relievers.

Interesting... second time in recent weeks he’s been up to UConn (Spring Football Practice and now a baseball game)

Right now I count a possibility of 7 reliable relievers, which is pretty wild. The thought of Kersten leaving the weekend rotation had crossed my mind, but I don't think it is going to happen soon.
