Do we view today's Tulane-Houston game as a no lose (either we end up one game out of first or one game further ahead of Tulane) or a no win (either Houston stretches their lead on us or Tulane creeps closer)?
I think I would have preferred Houston to beat Tulane, giving UConn a bigger lead on the Green Wave for 4th place in the league. That would have given the NCAA selection committee a nice split between the top half and the bottom half of the league, both in terms of league records and RPI. Of course, Tulane beating Houston gives UConn a better chance of moving up in the standings next week. Aside from UConn playing East Carolina, USF and UCF play each other in the final week of AAC play, so that will make things interesting at the top of the league. Houston plays Cincinnati at home.
