Should we not? Ball on ground

My point was more along the lines of when you are already +4 on TO's you shouldn't have to be worried about going +5 to turn the game in your favor.

.-.
That's a play that happens when you're gassed. Flowers is somehow a worse passer than Shireffs, and we bailed him out. Off chance we still make a bowl, see y'all next week.

3rd down... We had the chance, got to make the plays when they really matter.

.-.
Regardless what happens after this game, we need to seriously look for a new QB. BS is tough, but he is not the QB that can win games for us. BS is just not good at reading the defense or make throws, both skill sets are needed in order to be a competent QB in FBS.

why go for the intercept there?
why not just slap it away?

.-.
He's had such a good game, but that play was rough...

I love these kids. I hate our staff. Same Shiite week over week. No instinct to seize momentum when it's there. They piss it away every time. This was a winnable game that got away based on a failed strategy.

We have a good squad. I still think 7 regular season wins is very possible. Lets keep some perspective here.

Zoo you can't be serious with this post! Are you watching the same game the rest of us are...and have you watched him all season. Not taking anything away from his toughness or how much heart he has..BUT he isn't a college QB! NC ST and Dave Doren wanted him to play FB for a reason! He can't make his progressions or make his reads! He isn't a good QB period!

He clearly lost the game for us. Big heart but no QB IMO. Missed many easy throws and betrayed our D. We were up 17-14!

This game was lost on the field.

Every week it's like UConn is playing Pop Warner football where the opponent has their best player play QB and dare you to be able to stop them.
This is true for the majority of college football as well.

To some extent I agree
BUT the coaches don't miss tackles
The QB situation is a real problem - RS is a gamer but UConn needs more than a gamer
