Houston just beat Tulane in 13, now still have a second game to play today. First place is still a possibility.

Nice bounce back for Routolo in the 9th. Struck out the side. Two down one to go.

If we win tomorrow we would be 14-9 and if they lose to UCF they would be 14-9-1. I think that would put us ahead of them. Of course we would need Houston to sweep Tulane also.

Like the seeding as we would avoid Houston in the first round and Tulane until the possible Championship game. Wouldn't mind seeing Memphis in that first game.

Montgomerie off to a good start in the 1st inning retiring USF in order, including two more strikeouts. No question he is the most improved player from the beginning of the year.

Daniello is the one guy in the lineup right now who is struggling this weekend.

UCF bent over for ECU again today so we are locked into the 3 seed. Our in conference play was unquestionably better this year.

Offense, particularly gnesda and Danielle again, are leaving Montgomerie out to dry. Contact has been good, execution not so much.

They get a random 2 run shot to take the lead. UConn has absolutely been the better team today but the lack of clutch at bats + BABIP luck screwed us so far.

Montgomerie getting a lot of pop ups today. Pitching well. Just the one mistake. Need to get the bats going today. Had chances early but didn't capitalize.

Montgomerie stays on to pitch the bottom of the 7th. No problem with that. Aside from the homer he has pitched well.

Big hit by Melley. Daniello continues to struggle.

Who would we rather have on our side of the bracket ECU or Tulane?

Two runners on with two out in the bottom of the 7th after Montgomerie plunks a batter. Polonia coming in for the final out of the inning. Doubtful if Ruotolo is available today to close it out.

Edit. WHUS guys say Ruotolo is warming up in bullpen.
