UConn @ UMass-Lowell (Wednesday 4/18@3p)

I'm guessing that if UConn keeps a decent lead in this game that we may see the return of Dan Rajkowski to the mound.

Both Holmes and Dandeneau having a hard time on the mound this inning. Score is now 9-7 UConn going to the top of the 6th.

UConn gave almost all of it back. 9-7, Top of 6.

Top 7th, Stefanski single drives in Feldstein to make it 10-7 UConn. Runners on 1B and 2B, one out with a pitching change for UMass Lowell.

Woodworth single drives in two more runs to make it 13-7. Maybe we will see Rajkowski today.

Four more in for UConn, who are still batting with 2 down, man on 1st. I am getting in my car so no more updates from me until I get home. The game will probably be over by then. Hopefully it's academic right now, but nothing surprises me at this point.

Nucerino now has 2 hits on the day, nice production from the bench.

Even his outs have not been poor at bats. If we hold on, he should have first dibs on the papaya.

13-7...come on bullpen.

7th inning, Wallace comes up with an easy 1-2-3 frame. I'd like to see Rajkowski in for the bottom of the 8th.

Same. Some more insurance / amenities would be nice, too.

Wallace looked great both innings.

With Chris talking about RPI, in my opinion this coming series versus Cincinnati is the scariest until ECU. With the pitching depleted and Cincinnati with a lower RPI, losing the series could do some series damage.

We add 1 in the top of the 8th. I didn't like our approach there, though...we swung at ball 4 multiple times.

UMass Lowell's catcher has had a brutal game.
