She has a 3.7 grade-point average, having made just one B to go with all A’s so far. She said she will probably major in kinesiology.

Well there you go. Done deal. :D

The best Exercise Science school in the country is The University of South Carolina.
But with a 3.7 GPA Christyn would be way OVER qualified to attend The University of South Carolina.

"I believe my game resembles Diana Taurasi because she is very explosive, she can shoot well and she is a leader on and off the court. "

Taurasi, eh? Startling lack of self-confidence, as further evidenced...

"My game is very smooth but explosive. A lot of people say I play like a boy , because boys are typically stronger and quicker. I am perfectly fine with that comparison. My strength is a key attribute to my game. Another key factor is that I am often a Lefty but in reality, I am ambidextrous. I shoot with my Left hand but write with my Right hand. This always throws off my opponents because coaches tell them to force me to the Right. When they do that I am equally capable of making plays on my Right side."

Ah but there is more as in " When I retire from the WNBA". Personally I like her swag! Looking forward to her backing it up.

Christyn Williams scored 46 points on Tuesday a day after putting up 38.

A reminder than Williams will be visiting the UConn campus during the Temple game on the 16th.

Did you check out the Interests at the end of the last article cited?

Interests

Things I Like To Do: Hanging out with my family and playing other sports
Favorite Player: Diamond Deshields
Favorite Team: Clippers
Favorite Band
Favorite Movie: Love & Basketball
Three People I’d Invite To Dinner: Cynthia Cooper, Pat Summit, Dawn Staley
Favorite Quote: I’m not out there sweating for three hours every day just to find out what it feels like to sweat. – Michael Jordan
Favorite Book: Divergent

Taurasi is not her favorite player, and she seems to like Tenn and So. Carolina.

After the USA U16 trials she also shouted out Diamond as "Her role model" and had a very good rapport with Lexi Gordon UCONN 2017 Target. Youtube Video is out there some where. She 15-16 so probably all over the place, Cooper, Pat and Love & Basketball all have an old school vibe to them but the Clippers is a head scratcher. I still like her swag. Her visit to UCONN is unofficial-self paid, she from Arkansas which is a lot closer to TN and SC- just saying.

# 12 Katlyn Gilbert- Same HS as Kelly Faris

Not to hi-jack this thread, but this didn't quite warrant its own thread: Gilbert was a "special visitor" to ND for the recent game against Georgia Tech.

I wonder how close she is to Tyasha Harris. Harris is still uncommitted so they could conceivably play 2 years together at the same school. Also, I totally forgot (or maybe never knew) that Gilbert committed to Evansville in the 7th grade before re-opening her recruitment (probably when she realized/was told that she was way too good for Evansville).

Re Williams - Does she have a real list? Most kids don't at this point and ESPN's list are usually incomplete (at least for kids this far out).

Both Ms. Williams of Arkansas and Ms.Walker of Virginia have a very high level of interest in attending Uconn. The players visit whenever they can and the coaches at Uconn wouldn't spend as much time going to their games and accomodating them if they didn't know this. They both are almost Maya Moore good.My hope is that they go to one school, and i hope the school they go to is in a town that rhymes with the word doors.

Yes she might have a real list, probably written in pencil and subject to change even were she to verbal because she cannot sign a NLOI until November 2017. A lot can happen in those 665 days.

Love the enthusiasm but "Maya Moore good" is pretty tall cotton.

Christyn Williams scored 46 points on Tuesday a day after putting up 38.

A little more info on Williams' performance Tuesday in which she scored 46. She was 17-27 from the floor, 9-13 from the foul line, and added 16 rebounds and 5 steals.

Dejarnette said before the game that Williams is the best player in the state, and her effort Tuesday did not change his opinion.

"We'll go back and watch the film and see if we can do some different things defensively against her," Dejarnette said. "But tonight, she was able to get whatever she wanted, whether it was getting to the rim, an open three-pointer or to the free-throw line. She has as good of a skill set for a high school player as there is."

Jan 12 update:

Christyn Williams scored 46 points yet again on Tuesday and also hit the game-winning three at the buzzer.

Decent note to pause on prior to her trip to Connecticut this weekend.
