UConn to play NC State in a home & home series starting in 2022-2023

The Huskies will host the Wolfpack in Connecticut in 2022-23 before traveling to Raleigh, N.C., in 2023-24. UConn is 6-2 all-time vs. NC State. The teams last faced off in the 2007 NCAA Sweet 16. The Wolfpack posted a 22-3 record in 2020-21, earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and finishing the season with a Sweet 16 appearance. NC State has won back-to-back ACC Tournament Championships.

The Huskies have a stacked nonconference slate this season with South Carolina, Louisville, Tennessee, Oregon and Notre Dame on tap, in addition to the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament. Additionally, the Huskies have extended their series with South Carolina through the 2023-24 season.

Quick Triad, get back on your medication, you're starting to lose it. The only "ducking" Geno does is when he's dancing. I would love to see UConn and Duke sign a contract for at least 6 years worth of OOC games beginning in 2022. BTW, I'm rooting for Kara big time. I'd like to see her rise the stature of her program similar to that of Dawn Staley and South Carolina. :) It would be good for the ACC, and good for WCBB.

I would love to see the NC State matchup this year while Cunane is still on the Wolfpack roster. But Wes Moore is a great coach and his team will be a solid matchup for UConn in 2022-23 & 2023-24.

NC State is my NC (national championship) sleeper this year. They return everyone and add two talented transfers, including a very skilled scoring guard in Diamond Johnson.

For 1 they lose Cunane. For 2 see #1.
Okay, that will be a big loss. They were good before she arrived. They've been recruiting well, and attracting impactful transfers. I just don't see them disappearing after losing 1 player. To me there is every indication that Coach Moore has developed a solid program there, the kind that endures the loss of star players.

UConn has 2 openings in their OOC schedule. I wouldn't mind a trip out to either Iowa or Iowa St. Both schools/cities support their teams and deserve a high profile game.

Anyone think ESPN might like another Clark-Bueckers game?

Think of that. So, when they roll into Storrs in 2022 we will be facing the defending national champions. Is that what you are saying? Hot dig a dee, a perfect scenario. By the way, my dark horse next year is Iowa. Pretty good recruits coming in, adding to a very talented roster with you know who, CC.

they keep sleeping on the Pac 12, Oregon is a sleeper last year exceeded expectations after losing Sabally and Ionescu and still a really good team

I don’t know if Kelly Graves would agree. 15-9 & 10-7 in the Pac-12 had to be a disappointment for an Oregon team that brought in what some folks believed was the top recruiting class in the nation along with highly touted transfer Sedona Prince.

Upsetting Georgia and losing to Louisville in the sweet 16 is an accomplishment considering who they lost

Isn't UConn supposed to schedule Texas next year? I thought it was moved back a year. Anything about homecoming games for the seniors?
