Never had interest in this event until now. Don’t know how much the seedings actually matter, but I have to imagine we’re a favorite to win the whole thing.

If we face Pitt, should be a helluva game. They look good, and have a short bench - only 9 guys showed. No DeJuan Blair

what's fun about this Pitt vs Philly (mostly Temple) late game is that most of the current Pitt team is standing at the end of the bench giving both teams and the refs ish.

LOL. Pitt games were always war. I would expect no less if the alumni play.
the Pitt guys playing tonight are scoring a ton, but no D. Very different from OBE days! I'll add that Luther is playing spectacularly for Pitt. Best player I've seen tonight on all 4 teams.

This is one of those events better experienced live. It's been a lot of fun. And intimate...maybe 400 for the UConn game, 550 for Pitt game.

Random story, but I'm having some work done on my house and the project manager I find out is a former Gonzaga player from the mid/late 00s (national POY candidate). Got to talking bball and how he played against uva when I was there (we smoked em!) and all the guys he's played with over the years and how he's got a voicemail from JC saved (hilarious to hear him be nice) when he was getting recruited to play at uconn.

Anyways, he specifically brought up Dyson as one of the toughest and scariest guys to play against. He used a few other adjectives that I found funny but I'll refrain from sharing them
