Men UConn summer baseball 2025

Maddix Dalena has played in 4 games with the Mystic Schooners starting a few days ago, so he is back from the wrist injury that kept him from playing most of the season this year with UConn. Looks like he is doing quite well, hitting .400 in 10 at bats so far.

Others may know far more about likelihood to be drafted than I do, but it seems to me that Soldra and Daniels are the two most likely candidates to be lost to professional baseball after the draft. Quite obviously Daniels coming back, and Soldra getting here, will be a huge key to the season.

As far as I can tell in terms of trying to look at the Cape Cod League rosters for this season, Soldra may be at this time the only UConn player currently in the Cape Cod League.

Ryan Daniels is currently rated in the above rating as No. 110 for college prospects available to be taken in the 2025 MLB draft.

Soldra is playing his final game in the Cape tonight. He along with other draft eligible players are heading home to spend some time with their families before the draft.

Norwich played a home day game against the New Britain Bees today, and Frank Spirito was the starting pitcher for Norwich. Norwich ended up losing 1-0, but Spirito pitched 5 scoreless innings before coming out of the game. It was the most innings in a game that Spirito has thrown for Norwich this summer. Spirito did well in this game, allowing 3 hits and 1 walk, and picking up 4 strikeouts.

The Norwich Sea Unicorns of the Futures League has added a transfer to UConn to its roster. OF Chase Taylor, a JUCO transfer from Los Mendanos College out in California..

The Norwich Sea Unicorns have another UConn recruit on its online roster. Incoming freshman Logan Charboneau from East Haven.

New Britain Bees also have a new incoming freshman UConn recruit on its online roster. Matthew McDowell from Brookfield.

Yeah, I have seen Jackson Marshall play in games at Norwich this summer several times. He looks big and good, that is for sure.

I also saw him win the Home Run Derby at the Futures League All Star Game last summer in Norwich.

As mentioned above, Rob Gilchrist just transferred from Pace University to UConn baseball. This summer he is playing with Nashua of the Futures League. Earlier this week he took part in the Futures League All Star Game.
