Great effort in all phases today. We will win a lot of games playing that way.
 
Chris Brown leads off the inning with a hit by pitch (he is batting after Maycock, the HBP magnet), and gets picked off 1B. Chris Jones says he was clearly safe, and says what he thinks of the umpiring crew.

Chris Winkel gets a one out single, a nice break from striking out.
 
With runners at the corners, Pat Winkel single drives in a run with 2 out. 7-0 UConn with runners still at the corners.
 
Bottom 6th, Austin Peterson still on the mound to start the inning, which is fine with me.
 
Bottom 6th, one out solo homer for USM after the great Chris Winkel catch. 7-1 UConn.
 
Chris Jones just said thet the strike zone today is by far the best it has been all weekend. Of course, the umpires who were behind the plate in previous games are now on the bases.

Colby Dunlop gives up a lead off solo homer, and a long double after the homer. Marrero is now warming up.
 
Dunlop gives up a two run homer after the double. Can't imagine he will be in much longer. 7-4 USM, Dunlop coming out, Marrero coming in.
 
Errors by Marrero and Brown have runners at 2nd and 3rd and no out.
