Bottom 2nd, Coe has a scoreless inning after giving up a 2 out single. Game tied at 1.
 
Top 3rd, Shpur leads off with a walk, and steals 2B, but he is left on base. Game tied at 1. 56 pitches for Coe so far.

I have a feeling that the big size of the Seton Hall ballpark may be playing a role in the UConn offense not clicking. The UConn offense recently has been hitting a bunch of long balls for homers, and that is not an easy thing in this ballpark.

Chris Jones has been talking about the size of the ballpark quite a bit during the broadcasts of these games.

Top 4th, UConn offense has a scoreless inning, with a double play taking care of the baserunner (Padilla) who got on base on a leadoff walk. Game tied at 1.

Bottom 4th, Coe gets 2 strikeouts while retiring the side in order, he has retired 7 batters in a row. Game tied at 1.
 
Top 5th, UConn offense goes down in order. Game tied at 1.
 
Bottom 5th, Coe has another 1-2-3 inning. Game tied at 1. Coe has thrown 80 pitches so far, so he may be good for another couple of innings.

Top 6th, UConn offense has a scoreless inning after a Morton single with 2 outs, the 3rd hit of the game for UConn so far. Game tied at 1.
 
Bottom 6th, the first 2 Seton Hall batters reach base on a leadoff walk and an error on Dalena. Both runners get into scoring position on a sac bunt for the 1st out. Coe gets out of the inning with a strikeout and a fly out with no runs coming in. Game tied at 1. Coe is at 104 pitches, so he may be done for the game, we'll see.

Cinnella and Carrea were warming up that inning.
 
Top 7th, Studley gets a 1 out walk, and steals 2B. Studley is left on base, game tied at 1.

Coe still on the mound to start the bottom of the 7th.

Bottom 8th, Coe has 2 strikeouts during a 1-2-3 inning. Game tied at 1. Coe has thrown 124 pitches in this game, an excellent game for him.

Carrea and Quinn were warming up that inning.
 
Top 9th, UConn offense goes down in order again. Game tied at 1.

Quinn takes the mound to start the bottom of the 9th.
 
Bottom 9th, leadoff batter reaches base on an infield single to 1B (Quinn was late covering 1B on the play). A sac bunt for the 1st out moves the runner to 2B, the runner moves to 3B on a ground out for the 2nd out. A 2 out single brings in a run, Seton Hall wins 2-1.

Well that boo boo really cost them. But one run isn't going to win you many games anyway. Not much steam on offense in the series yet.
 
Ouch. Watching on my phone at my daughter’s masters graduation ceremony. I did stop to watch them call her name and see her accept her diploma literally two minutes before the GW hit.
