Really should have scored more in that inning, but a shut down bottom of the 8th would more than make up for it.

How did we manage to keep the shutout when we walked 10? If that has happened in baseball before it must not have happened often

That was the most frustrating road series win vs. a quality team I can remember. The second most frustrating was the last time we won a series here 2 years ago.

Defense was mostly good this series, which is extremely encouraging.

• The Huskies posted their second shutout of the season on Sunday.
• With his single in the second, Tyler Gnesdaextended his team-high hit streak to eight game.
• Troy Stefanski also continued his hitting streak (five games) with a double in the ninth.
• Ryan Radue (5) and Mason Feole (8) both notched new career-highs in strikeouts
• Zac Susi recorded his team-leading eighth multi-hit game of the season.

Next up, UConn heads home for their potential home opener on Tuesday, March 28 at 3 p.m. against Boston College.
