I didn't realize it that our daughter (and I) met several top UConn all-time scorers until they showed the list on Saturday when Paige overtook Katie Lou and Tina. Every single one of them was warm and super nice.

I believe at least Tina and Paige will be in the HoF when they are done, and won't be surprised if a few others in this photo joined them:

The closest I ever got to UConn royalty was participating in a New England Blizzard fantasy camp, where Carla Berube tried to convince me to dribble and layup with my off-hand (left), and Kara Wolters tried teaching me a double post move, aka, a Kevin McHale special, and I'm barely 5'7". Had a great time until I tried to take a charge and the opposing player was a bit taller and faster than me, and it almost pulled my leg out of socket, LOL. Still have the t-shirt though.

I think Tina will be in the HOF. Paige is likely too. Though she got a slow start, Gabby may be on the right trajectory. She’s now one of the best players in Europe and already has 2 Olympic medals.
