I would have came in 1st place if I hadn't misunderstood the first question about the Kevin Ollie era. I thought it was asking about his playing days and chose Ray Allen instead of his coaching days...ugh

.-.
So basically Jeremy Lamb not being considered an NBA player decided the winner

An active player as defined by the NBA collective bargaining agreement, correct. And yes, the CBA does specify that every team has an "active list" even during the offseason. It turned into an unintentional trick question and was ruled accordingly. But by all means, next time you're more than welcome to sift through the 1,500+ answers on your own to make these judgements.

Naysaying aside, hope everyone enjoyed the trip down memory lane of our Huskies history.

Wasn’t a shot at you at all, sorry if it came across that way. And for the record I’ve run this twice before so I know how time consuming it is sifting through all the answers and people questioning the decisions. I believe you won 1 of the times I did it, but could be misremembering

All good, I know people aren’t going to agree with every answer, just wanted to get the full Lamb reasoning out there.

These are always fun, and even more fun when someone else does the work lol. I do remember joining at least one of yours in the past.

@AZHuskiePop wins the Google Award!
Actually I do tons of research mostly genealogical by I seldom use google. That’s for amateurs .
Actually I think I spelled his name wrong
on the quiz. Those search engines are good for checking spelling since my spelling is horrendous and has killed me in this quiz.
I actually saw Ed and Billy Rado play in HS probably
for Naugatuck .They were beaten in the states . I think by WC
Billy was a very slick ball handler classic Connecticut guard .. who went on to play for Georgia. He was criticized for being a hot dog player in that state. The Cousy influence . The local sports writers came to his defense “ He May be a hot Dogger be he is the only player on the team who can Cut the Mustard” one of the all time great lines from a sports writer . Who were actually literate in those days.
Ed was just big 7’0!probably our first real one. He did score 50 against a tiny Maine 5
He was not the most athletic maybe a tad clumsy. But unforgettable.

You Can Google Hot Dogger and Cut the Mustard if you don’t know what they mean

And last but not least....

UConn (Reverse) Sheep Trivia Champion: @SubbaBub

I am honored and humbled to be part a distinguished fraternity of past champions. I'm also a stunned that I didn't Cuse it away in the last two questions.

Thanks for stepping up this year and running this.

The winner will be announced momentarily, but first, we have some other awards to hand out. First up...

The Derrick Rose Reading Comprehension Award goes to @phillionaire!

I accept this on behalf of everyone that was pretending to work while filling this out but was too focused on the pretending to work part to understand directions

Even though I did embarrassing poorly . I like the strategy of reverse sheep and hopefully understand it better than before
It a little like para mutual betting in horse racing. Its you against other players
It was fun and despite my protest
I would like to thank the moderator for a nice job.
I did learn after the quiz that Abro is the only player to play in the Yankee Conference 1975-76 and the Big East 1979-80.

I didn't get in to this one in time. Have no dog in the fight.

This is the doucheiest game of this yet. Perfect example of why having a second person sanity check clarity of your questions is usually a great choice.
lol nobody is going to "red team" a sheep trivia list

.-.
Wasn't UConn independent pre Big East? The Yankee conference broke up in the mid 70s.
Yes. It was impossible to play Yankee and Big East.

Congrats again to @SubbaBub - Thanks to everyone who participated!
So my only thought here is that the point methodology vastly overweights the sheep and under represents the reverse sheep. Way more points in sheep. That seems wrong.

I probably should have read the instructions before participating, but where's the fun in that? I'll take my L.

Imagine how much better I'd have done if I did that.

Great job jfuchs91 thank you.

Congrats to SubbaBub well done, as well as the others who finished ahead of me.

The rest of you suck! ;)
