Also, this: Last 2 UConn wins go to Blaney, not CalhounI thought about this as well, but the question doesn't specifically state that they had to become a head coach after being at UConn. Blaney became a head coach at several schools, and was also a UConn assistant. And ultimately, reverse sheep round is about finding unique or interesting answers, even if it's by a technicality, so that was my reason for allowing it.
STORRS, Conn. -- Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun won't get credit for the 2-1 record his team compiled while he was serving a suspension for NCAA recruiting violations.
The NCAA's Committee on Infractions ruled Thursday that that record will instead go to assistant George Blaney, who coached the team to wins over South Florida and St. John's and a loss to Seton Hall.
