Anyone else think "Husky Retro Shorts" would be a great video series? Maybe 1 or 2 minute clips of of great Husky moments. A play or two that turned a game around. A good defensive stop. El Amin jumping up on the Pitt scorers table. Just cool moments.

What are you talking about? The template is exactly the same except the new Husky face.

They're not exactly the same but they're darn close. Biggest difference is there's no red piping around the knee and no trim in the shoulders and neck.

Go find proper shorts on ebay they go for between 100-250 bucks. Theres no real short or close to real shorts there for 50. If you've found those at that price you got extremely fortunate. Ive been hunting them foe a gag gift, but im not paying what people are asking.

I bought a pair of these on eBay for $22 less than two years ago. Nike's retail "authentic" shorts circa 2004. Like I said, it's all about timing. Don't look for them during the season and they can be found for $50 or less. The only thing anyone should be paying over $100 for is actual team issued/game-worn stuff.

All I'm saying is why not make the real thing and charge more?

The market is small for these items and I would bet most of those people looking to get them would spend say $100-$120 for stitched ones

Sorry I wasn't more clear. The new ones don't have the blue waistband and the blue around the bottom and the cut Is completely different. Also the jerseys cut is different and the fit is just hideous to me.

Fair. Got ya. Cut is completely different. More like a track and field uniform now.

They also sell a couple of retro UConn tee. I love the old UConn color/font. The red ‘U’ makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

These did look great, I agree.

However, the only thing I associate with these uniforms is the loss to Mason.

Therefore, I hope they were all dumped into a dumpster and set aflame and we never wear them again.
