Ok, I predicted 28 for Pitt. Shut them out for the rest of the half.

What the heck happened to Hartley's form on her 3? It is flat flat flat. Than she bricks wide open foul line jumper.
It's always been rather flat. Kaleena's shot went flat during her slump last year. Bria needs to get with Olde Coach for an afternoon.

Poor Bria...still can't make a shot.

I feel bad for her. All reports were that she worked really hard in the offseason..and the injury just derailed her. Hopefully the break after the regular season does her some good.

As noted earlier in the thread, Bria's shot trajectory is pretty flat - but it's always been this way. IMHO, partly because of this, it's critical for her to have maximum 'spring' in her step to get that last little bit of elevation on her jumper. I don't think she quite has it since the injury. It's probably a very small difference but with her trajectory she needs it.

Now, if that had been Maya with the ball and it was a UCONN practice, Bria would have a broken hip ...;)

Bria's shot better start falling soon or its going to be a LONG March/April. At random times you see her hesitate before an open shot, not what you want to see from someone with great shooting potential. Honestly, if shes not comfortable shooting id be more than happy seeing her drive to the basket, shes crafty enough to get there and for the most part can finish very well or dish to a post for an easy two. Im not sure why shes been sticking around the perimeter so much, cause when she drives it works out well typically

Cuse leads ND 43-40 @ the half. ND closed half on a 18-4 Run Diggins has 21 1st half points.

IMHO the only player(s) on UConn who are ready to shoot when receiving a pass is KML and when Stef is in range, she is. The others, don't seem to be ready to pop and shoot and need to take a dribble or other action to get ready to shoot. By then, many times the defense is ready to defend the shot.
