Chris Brown back in the lineup today at 3B, and with Padilla getting another day at SS, Bushling continues to roam around the infield and gets a day at 2B. David Smith moving to D.H. for this game. This could be setting up a pattern that with more games on the weekly docket starting on this road trip, various regulars may get the day off from the field and end up getting a day at the D.H. spot. We'll see about that.

I do think they like Smith's speed at the top of the lineup. But considering Christian Fedko does not have the best defensive reputation in the field, I don't consider him not playing 2B to be a big surprise, especially now that Padilla (who came to UConn with a good glove reputation) is now getting some playing time (of course, we have to see if this continues). Assuming that Brown is able to get out of his offensive and defensive slumps, UConn has Smith, Padilla, Bushling, and Brown to juggle around getting playing time in the infield.

That may be so, but Chris Jones always has some interesting UConn nuggets of info that other broadcasters probably won't have. That's why I stick to listening to Jonesy. You are likely not to get that info anywhere else.
