Wild, wonder what the reason is and what we'll do to replace it.

That's interesting since they mentioned before this they were trying to add more games while they were at the Mohegan bubble

Also, that kid is like 12 years old

If true, BC would be leaving the 2K Empire Classic which is also at Mohegan and includes Nova, Baylor, and Arizona St. Would be awesome to take their place in that and have Hurley v Hurley but not sure if 2 BE teams would be allowed.

That must mean we have something better lined up. Or that guy doesn't know anything.
We are only 30 min from Mohegan is it possible we can just get some teams to play at gampel prior to them going to Mohegan?

There's literally no chance this kid knows anything.

Turns out he's just some kid, he's probably making it up.

If BC is taking our place maybe we swap with them and get to play Baylor and ASU which is 10x better than Vandy and USC and BYU who are all meh. This is the only scenario I’m happy with this “news” but yeah I don’t trust a 12 year old but who knows these days.

Excellent trolling young man. You have a bright future of being pointlessly annoying to strangers.
:D

Unfortunately there's no reason BC would agree to this.

also considering the legends classic twitter tweeted this out after BYU was officially confirmed, I'd assume they got confirmation from all 4 schools about their commitment to the event.

I'm hearing we are angling to play four exhibition games in Fall 2021 similar to how football is angling to play exhibition games this Spring until we can safely field a team to compete next Winter.
???

I don't understand what the value is in dropping out of two games against decent competition driving distance from the school

I'm told that Jake Klein will not be participating in 2020 Twitter anymore. Someone who knows something will be taking his place...

Since non con games are a premium this year it makes sense for us to get better opponents and BC to get winnable games because they would go 0-2 otherwise. Vandy and BYU are not good this year and USC is just ok. ASU and Baylor or Top 25 caliber.

Nobody turns down better competition assuming they're bad. And they're still probably the worst legends classic team.

Makes sense only if we swap with BC. Since non con games are a premium this year it makes sense for us to get better opponents and BC to get winnable games cuz they would go 0-2 otherwise. Vandy and BYU (BYU lost a ton) aren’t great and USC is so-so. Baylor and ASU are top-25.
