Sorta funny, when I click the link in the email from UConn Athletics, I only get $80 options. However, when I click the link from UConnbowl.com, I only get $45 and $69 options :)
It’s bizarre. If you go to the link now, there’s $30 tixs available.

Won't know until probaly the weekend how many tickets I'll need. My party coyuld be anywhere from two to twelve (my son has a lot of people in New Hampshire, about 75 miles from Boston). I'll try UConn's ticket office first but I may need to go aftermasrket for tickets at that point.

I've been reading the Tar Pit message board and these heel fans really do not give a hoot about this game. they call it a meaningless exhibition and are imploring their favorite players to opt out. The tone of the room is they are not wasting their time going up to boston, either.

sucks because whoever does dress & play will play hard for them, I'm sure, but something feels empty about playing a game the opponent doesn't care about, even if we get the win.

:(
Guess what? If we win, no one will remember who played for them and who didn't. What they will see is a bowl win vs a name brand ACC team that is usually a upper tier team in the conference year in and year out. So I could give a rats you know what about what players opt out and what that does to their roster. There will be ZERO empty feeling from me with a win or playing in this game.

The wife and I will be in field box 15 (great seats!). Driving up Friday and staying at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza. Will stroll up Boyleston to Fenway Saturday morning. Very excited! Would love to know which bar(s) UConn fans will be taking over after UConn's victory!

The original link from uconnbowl dot com. I looked at them. They’re pretty bad seats. Grandstand corner of end zone. But if you don’t mind that then it’s a good option.
Yup. and if there is an odd number of seats left you can't buy just two because you're "stranding" a single seat- total BS manouver to try to force more ticket sales.

Not sure if this was posted here before or not but seems like Yahoo isn't thrilled with our Bowl. Screw 'em

30. Wasabi Fenway Bowl (Dec. 28, 11 a.m., ESPN)
UConn (8-4) vs. North Carolina (6-6)

UConn is in its second bowl in the last three seasons under coach Jim Mora. A bowl win would give the Huskies their first nine-win season since 2007. UNC will be coached by Freddie Kitchens — yes, the former Browns coach — following the firing of Mack Brown. The game in Boston will give Patriots fans a look at a team that will be coached by Bill Belichick next season. Kidding. We think.

I don't have that many people but it may take that amount of time. We weren't really expecting this and no one made any plans.

I feel that way too. But OTOH, I will still thoroughly enjoy watching the Huskies kick the bejesus out of the Heel's 3rd string if the entire 2 deep stays home. No mercy. Good opportunity to develop some killer instinct.

Dude, I gotta ask, if we win the Wasabi Bowl and the thunderchickens lose the Pinstripe Bowl, are you gonna modify your avatar to state "Kings of New England, again!"?;)

UConn will play NC B team. All their best players will either say they are going to NFL or in the portal. This is the new bowl season where G5 teams have a better chance having their starters play in a bowl game. Unfortunately only games that matter is the playoff games. Wait to playoffs get expanded to 16 or 24 teams.

Their fan base is merely in damage control mode by rationalizing a loss in advance.

This is true of most bowl games going forward so it's no knock on UConn. Cripes FSU did this last year against UGA.
