They've been showing interest for a while now. They have watched him a couple times in the past year but nothing major. If he gets an offer it's because they missed in a bunch of people.

I don't see how Kasongo won't sign after this weekend. Being on the sidelines, being on camera with our athletic director in from of a huge national audience. Playing with Kemba and Lamb, I'm sure they both showed of their rings to him.

Just saw Kasongo played for Grassroots Canada - that was Denham's team. Not sure if that helps, hurts or is irrelevant. I'd lean towards door number three from those choices, but you never know.

I hope we land him too but I also hope that after he has a solid career for us including winning a ring, going to a Final 8, and hitting some huge shots for us, you won't call him an irrelevancy.

Would Kasongo and Alexander be able to play together? I know that's thinking really, really big, but what if we recruited kasongo as a pure 4, and Alexander as a 4/5? I have seen him listed as a 5 on some sites. Obviously, either one of them would be a dream come true, but why not get a little greedy? We're UCONN, damn it!
