The game scheduled for Wednesday in Storrs was rescheduled to today in Boston (prolly because of the impending rain storm) anyway 5-0 UConn Bottom of the 3rd

Well that was unexpected. Glad to see we're up early though.

Up 7-1 but Butler is walking a tight rope in the bottom of the 4th.

Struck out back to back batters with runners on 2nd and 3rd to end the inning.

Right there in the top of the 6th is a perfect example of situational small ball time. Mazzilli and Fuller get on 1st and 2nd no outs and a 7-0 lead is now down to 7-5. Verdi up after they just had a wild pitch and a walk by the new pitcher and what does he do, grounds into a double play, rally killer. Why not bunt there and have 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. Better yet why not atleast take a few pitches since the pitcher is wild. No he swings at the first pitch. It is this type of boneheaded decisions that continue to hurt this team and have all year.

thank god my golden bears are having a good season becuase this year its just not happenig for uconn. this is brutal baseball being played.

I'm sorry, but what is it with this team having to swing at the first pitch all the time. It just doesn't make sense to me when a pitcher is wild. Make him throw a strike.

I believe that if a pitcher is wild it is safe to assume that he's going to try to get a fastball over the plate. So when a pitcher is wild, you sit dead red. And if you get it, you swing.

Will Oberg be available for the bottom of the 9th after how many innings he pitched Sunday? We will see.

I'm guessing that there must be a rain delay or something.

Huskies survive the 9th and take an 8-7 win at Northeastern...recap to follow

If anything the FSU game will be televised and our game with USF won't be lol
