Rispoli stays in the lineup playing SS, but moves from being the leadoff batter to being the batter at the bottom of the lineup.

Minick not seeing playing time in the outfield of late since he was having problems fielding out there, it would not be a big surprise if he ending up getting playing time in the infield at 3B.

Chris Jones says that there is a light drizzle rain falling at the game currently, he does seem to expect any delays in the game from it.

Trumpour walks the next batter, with 1 out the runner steals 2B and with 2 outs moves to 3B on a balk, the runner is left on base. 2-1 UConn.

Bottom 2nd, Trumpour gives up a leadoff single followed by a no out triple driving in a run. 4-2 UConn.

A run scores on a sac fly for the 1st out. 4-3 UConn.

Trumpour gives up a 2 out double. Trumpour comes out of the game, Talarico takes the mound.

Talarico gets a strikeout to end the inning. 4-3 UConn.

The homer is followed by a no out single, and a 1 out walk and a 2 out walk to load the bases. Talarico leaves the bases loaded, he had 2 strikeouts in this inning. Game tied at 4.

Top 4th, Cancel leads off with a walk, with 1 out Rispoli gets hit by a pitch, Polemeni follows with a single to load the bases. Righi follows with a 1 out walk bringing in a run. 5-4 UConn.

Minick follows with a 1 out double that drives in 3 runs. 8-4 UConn.

Bottom 4th, with Finn pitching, the 1st batter gets on base on a Rispoli error, this is followed by a no out double putting 2 runners on base, a 1 out walk loads the bases, A ground out for the 2nd out brings in a run and puts 2 runners in scoring position. 8-5 UConn.

Finn gets a strikeout to end the inning, his 2nd strikeout of the inning.
