Rispoli stays in the lineup playing SS, but moves from being the leadoff batter to being the batter at the bottom of the lineup.

Minick not seeing playing time in the outfield of late since he was having problems fielding out there, it would not be a big surprise if he ending up getting playing time in the infield at 3B.

Top 1st, with 1 out Righi gets a single, Righi steals 2B, with 2 outs Marshall gets a 2 run homer. 2-0 UConn.

Wachter follows the homer with a walk, he is left on base.
 
Chris Jones says that there is a light drizzle rain falling at the game currently, he does seem to expect any delays in the game from it.

Trumpour gives up a 2 out double. Trumpour comes out of the game, Talarico takes the mound.

Talarico gets a strikeout to end the inning. 4-3 UConn.

The homer is followed by a no out single, and a 1 out walk and a 2 out walk to load the bases. Talarico leaves the bases loaded, he had 2 strikeouts in this inning. Game tied at 4.

Top 4th, Cancel leads off with a walk, with 1 out Rispoli gets hit by a pitch, Polemeni follows with a single to load the bases. Righi follows with a 1 out walk bringing in a run. 5-4 UConn.

Minick follows with a 1 out double that drives in 3 runs. 8-4 UConn.

Marshall follows with a 1 out walk, both runners are left on base. All outs for UConn offense were on strikeouts. 8-4 UConn.

A 1 out fielders choice grounder by Rispoli drives in a run, bases are still loaded as Rispoli makes it to 1B. 12-5 UConn.

With 2 out Righi drives in 2 runs with a single, runners are now at the corners. 14-5 UConn.

Last year Righi had a very good summer playing for New Britain in the Futures League, saw him in a number of games that were played against Norwich.
