UConn @ North Florida (Fri. 3/2/18@6:05p, Sat 3/3/18@2:05p>ESPN3, Sun 3/4/18@12:05p)

I’d have a short leash on Chase next inning. In both his previous starts he has faded in the 5th, they need to be prepared for that incase

Scoreless 4th for Gardner, 2-1 UConn. 6 strikeouts, 2 walks, 3 hits for Gardner.

Top 5th, UConn leaves the bases loaded. 2-1 UConn, with Jake Wallace coming in to pitch the bottom of the inning.

I like the move to put Wallace in here. A combo of him, CJ, and PJ is good enough to get us 5 innings and a win. Although I'd like to hit a bit today... really thought Isaac would come through but should've known better with the wind.

Wallace gets out of the 5th, 2 walks, 2 strikeouts along the way. 2-1 UConn.

.-.
Wallace gives up a lead off walk in the 6th, and in comes freshman Colby Dunlop.

Ridiculous, throw strikes already. Maybe the wind is effecting them which is exactly why Feldstein should have been taking 2-0 earlier.

What are we doing? Woodworth had the easy force at second even after he dropped it. Susi hesitates throwing to the plate. Tons of mistakes.

Walks and bad fielding lead to 3 runs in for North Florida, and they are still at bat. 4-2 North Florida.

.-.
All started by 2 walks. Just can't have constant boneheaded plays.

What is also killing us is our inability to touch a mediocre bullpen that has been crap all year. The offense has to wake up.

What is Susi thinking there? Luckily Moriarty makes a nice play to save the ball from rolling in LF. The entire team has been sloppy this inning

Simplify the game boys.
1st and 2nd no outs, grounder to Dunlap, get the easy out at first. He tries to get the force at 2nd. Bases loaded.
Next guy pops up. Probably infield fly rule with one out and 2nd and 3rd. Drops in. Get the easy force at 2nd. Nope we try to get out at plate, throw it away. Someone should be yelling to Susi, play at the plate, apparently not, he picks it up hesitates to throw home and guy beats it out.
Just silly mistakes that can't happen.

Chris Jones says this is one of the worst innings he has called while broadcasting UConn baseball.
