Loved Morgan but she's an unknown due to how she limited her ability to play many minutes due to constant foul problems. She's got great potential once healthy. You guys remember Morgan will be coming back, right?

It always seems like many posters think that six or seven people are on the court at the same time. There are still 12 people on next year’s roster; who among them deserves not to play because of a transfer? This team is not a candy shop. You guys remember Morgan will be coming back, right?
Carlton 6'1" Soph...Texas "SKY" Forbes 6'3" Junior MarquetteI agree with you, however, if you look at the bench, if Sara or Blanca are forced out of a game/games, who's going to be playing up front?
I wouldn't take just a bench filler, but I'd be interested in a solid, athletic forward who can rebound and defend.....I think either Justice Carlton or Skylar Forbes would be very helpful players if they were interested in UConn......
Nunu Agara 6' 2" Forward JuniorAnyone have any thoughts on Nunu Agara out of Stanford?
I'm really hoping that Morgan's career isn't going to be injury-plagued over the next three seasons........sadly, UConn can't count on her playing a major role on the team next season until she proves to be 100% recovered......that's one reason why another forward from the portal is warranted.......I remember last season many here thought UConn didn't need another guard either, but as it turned out K9 played a major role in the team's success......I'm looking for a repeat of that story.....Loved Morgan but she's an unknown due to how she limited her ability to play many minutes due to constant foul problems. Did you see Morgan in late season practices? Were there limitations that were concerning?I'm really hoping that Morgan's career isn't going to be injury-plagued over the next three seasons........sadly, UConn can't count on her playing a major role on the team next season until she proves to be 100% recovered......that's one reason why another forward from the portal is warranted.......I remember last season many here thought UConn didn't need another guard either, but as it turned out K9 played a major role in the team's success......I'm looking for a repeat of that story.....
No I didn't see her practicing......I only know she's missed her entire sophomore season and parts of her freshman year, so unfortunately, I'm a bit concerned at this point.......believe me, I'd love to see her out there playing that slightly maniacal style that I enjoyed so much her freshman season...Did you see Morgan in late season practices? (I would also add that it was obvious that UConn needed a PG. The people who didn't think so were just worried about their favorites losing PT.)
I also like Forbes a lot—for all the reasons you cite. I feel like we lacked some of that "quiet nastiness" this year.I like Forbes so far. Athletic. Efficient. Great length. Nasty, but quiet about it. Underrated two way player, IMO. She may not be the BEST, but I see her as the BEST FIT.
Forgot that Vukosa would also back up Trygger. 11 man rotation.Jordan Lee as a scorer and good defender and Tilda Tyrgger as a big that can shoot. I would start Trygger, Strong, Quinonez, Lee and Arnold. Heckle would back up KK, Shade would back up Lee, Ziebell would back up Quinonez, Cheli would back up Strong and El Alfy would back up Trygger. There is your 10 man rotation. We lose some 3pt shooting replacing Fudd with Lee but get some back by replacing Shade and Williams with Quinonez and Tyrgger.
Maybe I'm misremembering—or maybe I'm thinking of Dan Hurley on the men's side—but hasn't Geno typically avoided taking transfers from Big East schools?
Might be his policy, but she’s leaving anyway is my 2 cents.I also like Forbes a lot—for all the reasons you cite. I feel like we lacked some of that "quiet nastiness" this year.

Nunu was also a player at Paige's H.S... Hopkins.Nunu Agara 6' 2" Forward Junior
Why not? It doesn't stop anyone else. 😊I don’t have enough information to answer that intelligently
I am eager for Morgan’s return to the court. However, her shot attempts declined as the season progressed. She was passing up open shots. It would not surprise me if Morgan is the first one off the bench next year, instead of Allie....before she was injured last year, she was getting lots of playing time and she has a good 3 point shot.
"I didn't really think the portal pickups this year made a difference for the team". I think you might get some disagreement here regarding K9, and Jana is what you think she is and no more.If you have Sarah at 6"2, Blanca at 6'2 and Cheli at 6'2 you have all the size you need when you consider they have OV coming in and a healthy Jana. You have Ash who rebounds and defends bigger than her size too sho I think that part will be good. My question is who will be able to score? Sarah and Blanca are the ones you have right now that have shown they can score on a consistent basis. Ash and KK have shown they aren't really scorers and Kayleigh Heckel has been inconsistent to say the least.
I didn't really think the portal pickups this year made a difference for the team and stunted the growth of players like Jana. UConn gets the best players and needs to develop them and they will be better than fine. Any group with Sarah will be a very good team, some will need to step up for them to be great.
While numbers are never divulged (and when will true transparency occur? Are you listening NCAA?) It would appear Somfai took the highest NIL $ and sure Geno didn't want to participate in that game. That was fast. I was wondering if UConn had any interest in Somfai given that we were one of her three finalists a year ago. You'd think portal players and teams on their final list would be a no-brainer in this portal stuff, but maybe not.
It's all about the $.Bigger question is why are these kids jumping so quickly instead of exploring options?
Forbes sure ate Ash for lunch when we played them. She certainly plays with an edge and would do well with our groupI like Forbes so far. Athletic. Efficient. Great length. Nasty, but quiet about it. Underrated two way player, IMO. She may not be the BEST, but I see her as the BEST FIT.
It’s actually a smaller question, so to speak. As Cori has explained, agents work the ‘pre-portal’ weeks before the actual portal opens. In other words, the kids are being worked over by professional middlemen who see them as a cash crop.Bigger question is why are these kids jumping so quickly instead of exploring options?
I have no significant knowledge about players and agents, however, for players that are earning "NIL" money from a school and from other sources, it might be a good idea to have someone manage everything, especially if there's a future in professional play.I have noticed that many of those entering the portal have agents. To me that is crazy and would be a big no no as a player to bring in.
