Looks like tough regional to me, but aren't they all?Good draw for UConn?

I think so. Not easy, but then again it’s not supposed to be easyGood draw for UConn?
Nothing comes easy in the regionals, but this is doable if they play their brand of baseball.Looks like tough regional to me, but aren't they all.
And their reward is they have to play Texas. Texas is first team to make 60 NCAA appearances which is amazing to me.With a three seed.
I saw the 3 game series in Port St. Lucie in 2020. Krauth had a great game on that Sunday. UConn took the series 2-1. Krauth was also the winner in Scottsdale 7-1. Probably why he was drafted.I think we beat Michigan last year in the tournament last February in Scottsdale.

Go Blue Devils!CCSU vs 14 Oregon in Eugene
ODU didn’t bid for a regional. So they picked SC knowing it’s decently close and the place will be packed. Just a different year because of COVID with the limit of 20 preapproved sites. They haven’t had a 1 seed traveling since FSU came to us in 2010.Michigan was one of the last 4 in the tournament. With an 88 RPI. Not a cakewalk, but this is a winnable regional for the Huskies.
Plus the Big10 played no games OOC.
upset time!Yep, but the Stags are still playing. I’m happy for them.
How did Bama get in over Pitt? I prefer the panthers to remain irrelevant so we can continue to take the Fedko’s of the world from that state, but they got screwed.
Honestly, to be the real shocker was Georgia with an RPI in the 30's getting left out when they went to Vandy and won 2 out of 3 and also won a game at Florida and at Ole Miss. I would think they would've got in over LSU. I think announcing the retirement of the LSU coach at the time they announced it was purely strategical and it worked. Michigan in with an RPI of 88 is crazy, but since we play them, we'll take it. Now just beat them. The reason given by selection chair is that Pitt was 3 and 7 over last 10 games. Alabama beat South Carolina and Tennessee in the SEC tournament before losing to Florida and Tennessee.
Committee chairman said Alabama was rewarded because of a #2 strength of schedule. It's one thing to play top teams, it's another to beat those top teams. Just an excuse to get another SEC team in.How did Bama get in over Pitt? The only ACC series ND lost all season.Notre Dame lost two of three to FSU ( @ South Bend) this season....
My impression...The Irish will have real problems with the number one UConn pitcher...the problem always is...which team can can have their better pitchers to throw in game two.
To gamble or not..hold back on Michigan...or throw your best pitcher.
