Just wanted to add after this past week, our football team is ranked #39. They got 1 point in "others receiving votes" in the AP poll. Team is 8-3 with all 3 losses in OT.

Everything is coming up UConn. A great weekend for our favorite school, although the MBB looked absolutely flat at the end of the game. The football team has come a long way.

Actually in one of the discussions during a halftime (don't remember game or channel) they mentioned how close to undefeated UConn football was with (as noted) the losses all in OT.

In an article, the comment was that, unfortunately, they wouldn't qualify for the playoff even if they were undefeated due to a modest quality of competition. Maybe not the best mention but it can't be a bad thing to have the UConn name out there in the football world.
