UConn @ 15:

Didn't Q stay where they were? That in itself is a little galling. How did quinipiac gain two spots even we beat them Saturday and we only gain one. It seems like there's homers that vote for their favorite teams. It's just like when bu was one game under 500 this year and somehow they stayed in the top 20!
I just checked last poll your right they were at 6 but they should've dropped a spot or two!Didn't Q stay where they were? That in itself is a little galling.
My point exactly. How does UConn go up two and they stay the same?I just checked last poll your right they were at 6 but they should've dropped a spot or two!
AttendanceI would love Albany or Worcester, but why put Providence and UConn in same bracket.
Way too early to contemplate this. Win enough games to qualify……then talk about seedings/placement,I would love Albany or Worcester, but why put Providence and UConn in same bracket.
Just something to talk about since we have 2 weeks off.Way too early to contemplate this. Win enough games to qualify……then talk about seedings/placement,
I kinda like Cornell. A legendary team that UConn never plays OOC. That game would really draw.Watching the Michigan State-Penn State outdoor game at Beaver Stadium. We gotta do this against BC or Maine at Rentschler some day, collaborate with the Wolf Pack and do something like the 2011 Whale Bowl.
We played them in MSG in late November a few years back. At the time we were off to one of our best early season starts ever while they were maybe .500 going into the the game. They destroyed us in the game, it wasn't pretty.I kinda like Cornell. A legendary team that UConn never plays OOC. That game would really draw.
They do that to people. They knocked my alma mater out of the NCAA 's last year.We played them in MSG in late November a few years back. Hahaha, I love the irony. They can't fill the stadium for football, but could probably fill it for hockey.I do think we should try it soon, especially with the advantage on the rest of HE with having a big football stadium. Only BC has that and they can’t even fill it for football

Some of us attended the UConn-Sacred Heart outdoor game from that event 😉How quickly we forget Frozen Fenway as an attempt to host college outdoor games. Literally the worst venue and sight lines for hockey I’ve ever experienced, so, yeah a football stadium would be better, but if we remember the Whale Bowl in 2011, we had a cold and snowy winter season much like the one we are having now, and Howard Baldwin took a financial bath on the event due to extra snow removal costs even with 21000 tix distributed.
If a Rentschler P&W event were to ever be considered again, it would also have to include the WolfPack again. One difference today is though that UConn is in HE and is playing well, so there’s more to offer…
Add UConn to that 4 team mix. Could any of the teams reasonably expect to net 9 of the 12 points on the road? Probably not…Eagles home game will be crucial IF we come out of the next four road games (NE, Maine x 2, BC) successfully. IMO, we need at least nine of the twelve points. A tough ask.
That would be huge in the NPI if it happened considering the away win weighting factor. Most teams feel pretty good if they split on an away trip. Of course UConn seems to play better away.Add UConn to that 4 team mix. Could any of the teams reasonably expect to net 9 of the 12 points on the road? Probably not…
