That's unfortunate. Were the Yard Goats not available?

I remember in 2011 when Calhoun threw out a first pitch in Fenway and Kemba in Yankee Stadium.

Let’s leverage every Mets connection possible — I’d love Stevie Cohen to back UConn or NIL in some capacity.
Not as far fetched as some may think. Steve and his wife Alexandra live in Greenwich and donate huge sums to organizations in the area, including $20 million to Stamford Hospital and $5+ million to rebuild Stamford’s Mill River Park and create the Cohen Skating Center - a beautiful ice rink in the middle of downtown.

I can't speak for the 1999 squad (don't remember if they did or did not) but after titles two, three and four the team was honored at Yankee Stadium. There was even a humorous bit when Girardi came out of the dugout with a brand new Yankee cap and gave it to Maryland native Roscoe Smith, who was wearing an Oriole cap.

I'll be surprised if the Yankees don't do something and I will be surprised if the Red Sox don't do something. Each has in the past.

UConn is also likely to be honored by the Red Sox in an upcoming game at Fenway Park, as well. Donovan Clingan, the 7-foot-2 freshman center from Bristol, and Massachusetts native Alex Karaban are slated to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for that one.

Might as well line them up for the Phillies, Nationals, Reds, Cubbies, White Sox, Brewers, & Rangers
You forgot the most important one... the Padres.
