We won't know till we see the full schedule with tv partners and times but something to consider now partnering with NBC is the Olympics go from Feb 6-22
Logical reason is Val Ackerman is dogshit at her jobIs there any logical reason to not have both of these games on weekends?
It’s the marquee matchup of the conference and one of them is on a Wednesday night?
Relatively speaking NBC only has a tiny piece. Although I am now wondering what sport Fanta is calling. Please tell me it is curling as he is a big bowling guy (and the boredom of watching curling next to Fanta's enthusiasm would make for a humorous contrast). We won't know till we see the full schedule with tv partners and times but something to consider now partnering with NBC is the Olympics go from Feb 6-22
Last year vs. St Johns MSG was like 75% Johnny fans. Definitely not a home game at all anymore. Two home games to look forward to.
Jonnie’s faithful have marked their calendar for awhile with that one. That will not be a UConn crowd.Last year vs. St Johns MSG was like 75% Johnny fans. Definitely not a home game at all anymore.
Front runners. Brash and vocal talking about their parade route before the tourney started last year. We think Pitino is a jerk and they don’t like Hurley, but these are not the only good teams this year.Last year vs. St Johns MSG was like 75% Johnny fans. Definitely not a home game at all anymore.

But the second Pitino is gone and they return to crap their fan Garden advantage will fade.
Yeah agree they won’t sustain their success and attendance, but that game last year and the Big East Tournament shocked me at how the casual fan shows up for them.Jonnie’s faithful have marked their calendar for awhile with that one. That will not be a UConn crowd.
You got Spike out there, you have NY in a general drought of winning.Yeah agree they won’t sustain their success and attendance, but that game last year and the Big East Tournament shocked me at how the casual fan shows up for them.
I guess it’s the “new thing” in the city. You ask any of their newer fans who Steve Lavin is they say “that’s my barber.”
Let’s see how good they are in February. Seems to me the they have players who are me first type of players. Will they develop chemistry?Last year vs. St Johns MSG was like 75% Johnny fans. Definitely not a home game at all anymore.
Personally think the single biggest advantage they’ll have outside of Zubi being a beast is their flex at the 4 with Mitchell/Hopkins. Mitchell is a freak physically at the 4 and a great defender. It’s going to be interesting to see how Pitino splits their minutes, or if he plays Hopkins at the 3 at times. We go at them with Alex, Solo, Tarris, Ross and Stew who played together, know each other, have BBall chemistry and they only have Ejiofor. Yeah they have lots of new talent as we do but is that going to be a factor?
What'll be the best strategy to beat Florida and their massive frontline which also includes their 7'9" skyscraper Jean Olivier? That 6 game stretch is bonkers and is must watch TV for every Husky fan.
I see us going 6-0 with Florida being the toughest matchup with Condon coming back and Fland committing. But the staff has 1 week of prep before that game and they are the best at coming up with a game plan.

I'll be curious to see if he plays much this season.Olivier Rioux?

If you’ve spent any time on the Boneyard you obviously know that a twin tower lineup can never work in today’s game. 😀I’m interested in this Jean Olivier kid.
Having 2 kids 7’9 seems tough to guard.
