Is there any logical reason to not have both of these games on weekends?

It’s the marquee matchup of the conference and one of them is on a Wednesday night?

Relatively speaking NBC only has a tiny piece. Although I am now wondering what sport Fanta is calling. Please tell me it is curling as he is a big bowling guy (and the boredom of watching curling next to Fanta's enthusiasm would make for a humorous contrast).
