Have gone there many times a few years ago when my kids where in their high school bands and competing and saw Uconn band also. Have gone back to see my daughter when she was in Uconn band. Southington puts on a good competition.

Below is the schedule for the entire day. If you go, be sure to give the Cheshire band a hearty round of applause :)

Sounds great--no pun intended. At every away venue the UConn band has played, it has blown away the crowd. One of the other great bands, from WVU, once combined with UConn at The Rent a few years back and it was awesome.

With the move to Meriden, be sure to remind the Rams' parents their homes just lost a bunch of value and their school system's gone to pot. ;)

The football field at Cheshire High is being completely renovated and is just this week being sodded. When Cheshire held its Music and Motion USSBA show, it had to "borrow" Platt High's Falcon Field in order to hold the event. Somehow the USSBA picked up Meriden as Cheshire's home field.
