UConn Looking to Start a H/H Series at Home

could you post the link for that schedule board site? I had it but forgot it
Brochacho posted the link in this thread. Looks like you need an account to be able to see the schools looking for games.

It’s got to be an AAC team. Aren’t we contractually obligated to play some of their teams?

UConn has to play four home and home series with AAC teams, men's or women's. My guess is they do a two and two split, but I think the AAC is even worse in women's basketball than men's so who knows.

the big east also encompasses the midwest so we need to start mining the region for recruits. this needs to be a battle with a big10 powerhouse for recruiting supremacy: OSU, MSU, or Michigan. sorry 'sconsin.

Any of the following: Villanova, St John's, Georgetown, Seton Hall, Depaul, Xavier, Marquette, Creighton, Butler or Providence. Oh wait..........

Actually we should think about doing what Calhoun did as our national profile grew. Look for nationally relevant games that would be featured on the major networks. Games that showcase the team and UConn and expand the recruiting base.

Hello Wardeeee

Would love to get another H/H with Kansas.

Florida State has been really interesting lately. That would be good.

Indiana. And anybody in the P5 who will play our football team H/H

I’m stunned we have never played KU in football

They are trending up again, would be a good 4 game football/MBB home and home. Hell six, add WBB too. I’m sure our ladies wouldn’t mind a trip to Allen Field House.

Georgia or Georgia Tech for purely selfish reasons.

So my guess is that we aren’t doing the never forget classic and replacing it with an AAC team and we do a Big 12 challenge with a team like West Virginia

I'm for Michigan, Zaga, Georgia/Auburn, Indiana
No Cuse, Pitt, BC, Duke, Kentucky or Kansas

You’re crazy if you think they’d turn down Duke, Kentucky, or Kansas for a H and H.

I'd find it hard to believe the first team UConn plays in the Big East/Big 12 challenge isn't Kansas. Kansas and Nova are completing a H and H this season and there's not a lot of cache in a Kansas/Creighton or Kansas/Seton Hall matchup when this challenge is obviously an ESPN/FOX driven concept.

Syracuse, Cincy, Pitt would all be good ways to reignite old big east rivalries but I'd love to see us get to play some bluebloods like Kansas, Duke or UCLA.

If Hurley's got this program moving as quickly as we think he does, a road win at Cameron Indoor or Allen Fieldhouse could be the Uconn is really back moment.

Thanks for pointing out the Nova/Kansas H/H. I assumed that was a BE/B12 challenge game.

I could see us playing them.

My son interned at BC (for the Hockey team) last fall. I have to say I don't love him wearing BC gear around the house.

He is allowed in the house? Basement (cellar) only I hope

Creighton would be pretty good for them. Drivable for fans of both teams. Butler would have some appeal as well.

It should be Butler vs Baylor simply for the alliteration
