And while on the subject of geography, I want Fishers Island. No reason it should be part of NY. We could move the casinos there and have a New England "Atlantis." <--not serious. That joint commission in 1879 which upheld the 1664 award was totally crooked.

Most of the time I am all for "more roads" - but in the case of the wacky plans to bridge LI with eastern CT, I'm real glad it never happened. And yes, Cuomo was recently pushing the idea again...which is absurd because anyone that drives around in the state of NY can tell you the existing roads are in shambles....not to mention the enviro tragedy this would be.
