They already fixed the error, Icebear.Terrible writing error. Lists Stef and Bria as Seniors and then KML as a Junior but then has Breanna as only a Freshman. We wish.
You're right, Icebear. Since she was largely responsible for eliminating ND last year, it wouldn't really be fair not to count that year as an eligible one. Who knows what happens if Breanna isn't there.I figured they would see it. If for no other reason than ND fans calling up an complaining about having to face Stewie for 4 more years.
Coaches lobbying other coaches for votes seems like a bad idea, although it probably happens. As for Loyd being listed on the Wade preseason watch list, it's not that important. They seldom list underclassmen because they are honoring seniors who have their last chance to make the list. Who in their right mind actually thinks that Coley, Marshall, etc. have a chance to win the award?I'm surprised that Notre Dame didn't push to get Jewel Loyd and Duke didn't push to get Alexis Jones on that list. Both are better than some that are on it.
We don't play Notre Dame this year, do we?I figured they would see it. If for no other reason than ND fans calling up an complaining about having to face Stewie for 4 more years.

I don't know about coaches pushing for that, but I do think both should have been on the list. Probably by midseason they will be added when the list is adjusted...I'm surprised that Notre Dame didn't push to get Jewel Loyd and Duke didn't push to get Alexis Jones on that list. Both are better than some that are on it.
Well they are not on the schedule. We may end up seeing them in April.Blessedly, no.

. I assume Jewel Lloyd is moving to point guard?
Yeah, VG is correct. Muffet has stated that (at least initially) the point would be run by some combination of Freshman Lindsay Allen, Sophomore Michaela Mabrey, and Junior Whitney Holloway, although others would bring up the ball at times. Loyd is a better scoring option at SG or W, where she can move without the ball. Then the PG will have some nice options: McBride, Loyd, and Achonwa. Braker, ND's 4, contributes more on defense than offense, but when Reimer subs in, the PG will have 4 solid options (until another starter takes a seat). Last season, Braker had the fewest minutes of all the starters because of persistent knee issues, and while I hope those issues are behind her, it wouldn't surprise me to see Muffet sub out her first (assuming no foul issues).I dont think so.
I believe it was going to be frosh Allen and one of the returning players. Others as needed.
I think ND is going to have a pretty good team this year, even sans Diggins.Yeah, VG is correct. I agree. Muffet said yesterday that ND will start Allen at PG, and while the freshman will not be asked to replace Skylar's contributions from a year ago, not even Skylar started off her freshman campaign as the starting PG. Muffet's very impressed with not only her distribution skills and court vision, but also with her defensive prowess. Apparently she's a very quick study, too. What surprised me the most is who Muffet tabbed to be the back-up PG: Kayla McBride. (Apparently Kayla cannot rest on the bench, at least not alongside Allen.)I think ND is going to have a pretty good team this year, even sans Diggins.
