and the schedule doesn't get much easier.

I think the effort will be there going forward and the young pups will hopefully get lots of PT but very depressing to be in this position none the less.

The upperclassmen have been so disappointing and I feel for them, but clearly Dan Hurley has to limit their play going forward. JC, AG, CV will get minutes obviously out of sheer necessity but time to turn the page.

If you think January has been tough, how many wins do you all expect in the first six games of February? Scary!

With 2 4 year starters in the backcourt and a 3 year starter at center and a bunch of 4 star recruits. This team has more talent than anybody they have played thus far in conference. Totally inexcusable. Team is not mentally tough enough.

They are supposed to be talented the ones with seniority and experience but it didn’t pan out as expected. Our starting point guard ain’t supposed to shoot so poorly, and our senior guard same way. Vital was not a highly rated recruit so maybe we expected to much.

Yet wasnt AG a McDonald's All-American?

Yes he was but whatever the reason likely injuries, he’s been severely impacted. The kid tries hard but can’t do it. We’ve seen flashes from him at times that led me to believe he would fulfill his potential from high school. And he’s small but without Iverson’s athleticism or shooting accuracy. He has played good D we’ll give him that. Not every McD is a success.

To be in last place when we were carrying around a picture of the AAC trophy is really humiliating. Basketball only fans were ranking on the football team. This is way worse.

The talent level on the team is not very good. We don’t have a go to player, or a player who can consistently knock down open shots. The other problem with this team is that they lack basketball IQ.

You have to be kidding me. This is not good but the football team is an absolute joke. Legit can’t beat a d1 team outside of the UMass game.

We have been right there in multiple losses this season so the team is competitive. This is different than previous years. Tulsi destroyed Memphis a ranked team by 40. Think about that.

The football team was close against Illinois, Houston and East Carolina. NJIT, New Hampshire, St Peters, Iona, Maine, Buffalo, Sacred Heart. Tulane were the equivalent of UMass in football and not exactly murderers row. Miami and Florida were nice but last place in the AAC is last place. I will be there hoping we can beat Temple and start to reverse this collapse.

We’re done. No NIT.

Like which ones?

Right now I only see two. Wichita St and Houston.
Memphis and Tulsa if they keep winning like they are. Also wouldn’t surprise me if another team gets the auto bid. Just been that kind of year.

For a team that has "more talent than anybody", they are pretty bad. Maybe talented in high school, but they really seem undersized and over powered by nearly every other team in the conference. By undersized I am not talking height. I am talking lack of strength and muscle.
