UConn in the NFL

Dan O had an interesting tweet yesterday about people keeping their word. Not sure if directed at Rams or not. 2.0 retweeted

I'm fairly certain it was directed at the Rams
going back on their word to keep him
It was a politically correct follow up tweet

Hope he can find a spot elsewhere. It's the NFL, guys get hurt, roster spots open up. If not, it's been a heck of a ride.

Several NFL teams have contacted Andreas Knappe
By Søren Hygum Hansen , 04/09/2017 - 21:14

8-10 NFL teams have been contacting Andreas Button's agent after the Danes were fired at Atlanta Falcons on Friday.<<

>>The NFL teams have all approached the agent to inquire into the 6 foot 8 inches-wide offensive tackle that is ready to continue the career of NFL. He's on their radar, but yet it has not brought anything. But the teams can see a perspective in a big offensive tackle like him with the physical skills, says John Pace on the phone from the United States to Draftday.dk.<<

>>Next step, according to the agent, will be that Andreas Knappe will be offered a workout where he will appear in front of the team that has invited him to visit. In the NFL world, it typically takes place on Tuesdays. I can get the call with the invitation tomorrow or it can happen in the middle of the season. It is impossible to answer, he explains.<<

>>Andreas Knappe will stay in shape and wait for the call from another NFL team that may come. "His mood is fine. He is very professional and ready to continue, says John Pace.<<

Ryan Griffin is out tonight with a concussion.....too bad, he would have gotten most if not all the TE snaps with the Texans depleted at TE.

Talk about a blast from the way past.

He was such an awesome player for us.
He had some really good seasons with the Raiders until injuries derailed his career for a season or two. Glad to see him being successful again with the Cards after his bumpy stop with the Chiefs
