I don't know if I'm a UCONN/Patriot Homer, but Donald Brown and the Patriots seem to a perfect match for each other. I'm hoping he makes the team so I can pick of a Donald Brown patriots jersey.

Giants' wide receiver competition is getting interesting

The second-year receiver is also off to a strong start to camp, and he had a strong practice on Thursday. He made a diving grab in the flat early in practice and a nice leaping grab over first-round pick Eli Apple, doing well to keep both feet in bounds. The officials ruled it a catch.

Davis also has been getting some first-team reps as the Giants bring Victor Cruz along slowly. He looks improved from last year, when he also started camp strong but tapered off.

Maybe in his second professional season, Davis can maintain this level of play throughout the summer and season.
