UConn in the NFL

Was that Geremy Davis getting a lot of face time on the bench last night vs Miami? Was in street clothes but was sitting with other players and was listening intently when Beckham was being his usual chatty self.

Bad news. Looks like Marcus Easley just broke his leg. aircasted, but then they said it was a knee issue, so I dunno.

Bills special teamer Marcus Easley out with “major, major injury”

Rex Ryan: On Marcus Easley's knee... "He should be back for next season but this is a major, major injury. Obviously he'll go on IR. He dislocated his knee cap but also broke his knee in three spots. However, they say he'll be able to come back from it. But it'll take time. We all know how tough it is."

Dude can't catch a break...

Seems like Easley is highly respected in buffalo. Snippet from fan comments:

"He is by a mile and a half their best kicking team player. When he is out it looks like they need to fire their coordinator. When he is in, they look good. This blows for him, big, and for the team, possibly bigger."
