UConn in the NFL

Still shaking my head as to why Jacksonville wants to go with Robinson and Gerhart at RB over Todman. There's definitely the homer in me on why I think Todman is better but if he was given a shot at starting I think he'd impress. Gratz has been solid but read somewhere that ProFootballFocus has graded him near the bottom of cover corners but near the top of run stopping corners.
The Florida Times Union believes Jaguars CB Dwayne Gratz's future may be covering the slot.
Gratz has had a terrible sophomore season, getting benched after getting hurt in Week 4. He was eventually reinserted into the starting lineup at left corner after CB Alan Ball went on I.R. in Week 8. Gratz has graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 105 cover corner out of 117 qualifiers. But he's been a top-11 corner against the run. Gratz has the physicality at 5-foot-11, 201.

The Falcons have also signed WR Nick Williams: http://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/...Williams/3187e4b5-db15-4196-942f-a69282b278b1 #RiseUp

>>Williams, 5-10, 184 pounds, was originally signed by the Washington Redskins as college free agent out of the University of Connecticut following the 2013 NFL Draft. He played in five games as a receiver and returner during his rookie campaign in 2013. Williams played in 42 games at UCONN where he caught 43 passes for 588 yards and two touchdowns. He set a school record for career kickoff return yards (2,045) and ranks second in yards per return (25.9). Additionally, Williams is the only player in UConn history with at least two kickoff returns and two punt returns for touchdowns in a career.<<

Over the years I have tried to keep track of all UCONN football players in the NFL. Attached is my listing in Excel. I've also included all the players who were signed by an NFL club but never made an active roster. If you see anything incorrect let me know as hopefully I will be updating it for the 2015 class shortly. Thanks.

As a Raider fan and Uconn fan, this is tough to see. I wish Tyvon the best and hope he can stay healthy moving forward. Hope he finds a landing spot in the league soon!

Wish those injuries didn't hamper his momentum, he was on pace to be a Top 5 safety. At least he got paid first!

Hopefully he can end up on a winner and get the recognition he deserves.

Love the guy just got a lot of bad breaks, maybe he'll make the spring game
