UConn in the NFL

Sam Darnold giving major props to Ryan Griffin on the Michael Kay show this afternoon

With the Giants play at safety the last few years I could never understand how they would let Andrew Adams go. But then again Linval Joseph was too expensive to resign so they spend high draft picks almost yearly trying to find a good D-tackle and the O-line and LB's continue to suck. And they have no edge rushers.

>>“He's been awesome for us,” quarterback Sam Darnold said Thursday, “and he's looking to have another big game this weekend.”

Griffin had five catches for 109 yards — the first 100-yard game of his seven-season career — and a touchdown at Washington. He has 25 receptions for 269 yards and career-high four TDs while becoming a reliable target for Darnold in the absence of the injured Chris Herndon.<<

He already has a cheeseburger named for him. Now this catch by Ryan Griffin has given rise to a whole new cottage T-Shirt industry. Move over Gronk---RG 84 is in the house!!
What I love is that all our Husky NFL players are extremely proud of their Husky heritage. No one more than Ryan.
