Can’t believe the success that Tik Toker is having. They can’t keep both small guards long term though.
You're underestimating the genius of Scheyer. Took a kid with no chance to succeed in college and made him into an NBA rookie star in one year.............
At least that's what one of tomorrow's press releases from Duke will likely say. Next will hear about what he did to make Flagg the player he is today.

Well listen, will keep that brand cooking. Pushing kids to the league that become good is probably the single biggest draw for top recruits. He’ll have a massive fleet going this year. We saw that with Cal even when he was losing. The hardest part is to get that wheel in motion and now that we have it, just need to keep stocking the NBA shelves.

Talkin' Andre Jackson Jr.

But one number tells you all you need to know about his impact: +9.5. That’s his net rating this season, a clear indicator of how the Milwaukee Bucks perform when he’s on the floor versus off it. That number is higher than both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard's net ratings combined.

He’s a winner - doesn’t need to be a high octane scorer, as those around him know what to expect of him and fill in the blanks. Sum of all parts baby, that’s teams sports!

He does need to have some offense though. Some of the games I’ve tuned into have been pretty rough on that end.

Yeah if he can at least get to 9ppg he will get a real contract

He would have some offense if his guards didn't have such brutal vision. He's at 10 ppg on low minutes if they just knew how to execute a pnr and throw a lob pass. He can shoot the ball and he can dunk the ball. It's a pretty good place to start when you're probably already the best defensive big in the league.

He turns down a lot of easy shots because he gets in his head. He’s had a handful of Ben Simmons-esque plays in the somewhat limited amount of gametime I have watched of his. His shot has come along but he really should attack the rim more with his other-worldly athleticism. Been a criticism since his Freshman year here.

I think you are talking past each other; one is talking about DC and the other about AJ.

Keep it up, it's entertaining!

I thought you were talking about Clingan, it's damn near impossible to follow these threads anymore because posts aren't available to me.

Yes, Jackson's scoring is rough. He still doesn't know how to take layups.

Oh no Clingan is great, his shot looks good and he can obviously finish around the rim. Would like to see him dunk more, as I wanted in College, but very promising start.

Andre has a weird tendency to hover in really bad spots, most likely because he’s not confident on the perimeter

Like if Giannis is posting up or is about to roll after a pick and roll, Andre will cut to the hoop with his man still on him, and just bring his man into the paint to help contest Giannis’ shot without ever being out of position on Andre

If he can shoot consistently, then all of that goes away

Clingan is an absolutely bizarre NBA player but the advanced stats love him.

Been a while since I've had so much NBA to watch. Love that we have even guys like Cam getting legit NBA minutes.
Was thinking the same the other day watching the Spurs-Warriors and pulling hard for Spurs, edge of my seat on every Castle shot / possession lol, UConn NBA is back!

Was surprised Portland let him back in the game after he exited

Agreed, I thought it was very questionable at the time. Hopefully it’s nothing major. He was starting to do so many good things.
