Castle had some nice plays!

A couple of those quick changes of direction were insane. Kind of wish he never got hurt so that version of him could have come out more while he was here. But the year turned out ok, I think.

It‘s going to be really remarkable in a couple years to think that a team played us in the Final Four and put in a game plan where they didn’t even bother to guard him.

There are plays here that a rookie should not be able to make. He’s a really special player. 3-5 from three and 10-11 from the FT line too….the league has to watch out and the Spurs would be wise to start planning out how to get him more minutes

I love how after 2 pages of back & forth BY arguing and the usual suspect(s) lamenting “stunted development”, Castle then pops off for 33pts the next game. Delicious!

fingers crossed. “The buyout will free up a roster spot and also some cap space for Brooklyn, although it’s unclear how much.

Guard Tyrese Martin is on a two-way contract that he has clearly outperformed.

He has never logged a single minute with G League Long Island, and is approaching his game restrictions in the NBA. Brooklyn could conceivably convert him to a standard deal.”

He has a chance to be the best player ever from UConn in the NBA and yes I know Ray Allen played here.

His change of pace, Euro step, finishing through contact, size/strength, and athleticism are all already as elite as it gets. He gets his head on the rim all the time now.

If he gets a consistently good jumper which will come you're looking at a superstar.

Castle looks even more explosive in the pros, I'm sure another year older and an NBA S&C program helps but further being removed from that knee clean-up he had probably plays a big factor.
I watched a lot of tape on him when he was a high school senior and I never thought he would become this type of athlete. He was a great player but he never showed this type of explosiveness. We saw some flashes last season but he's already an elite of the elite athlete in the NBA. Dude has caught more bodies than anyone this season and he's getting his head on the rim.

And people here were saying that Castle wasn't anymore athletic than a freshman who didn't play a game at the time. I think after seeing McNeeley that Castle is definitely a level above McNeeley in that department and l think McNeeley is great. Steph is a great player snd showed out in the final four that potential last year.
