UConn in the NBA - April

Insane that we live in a time where people can push for a 7’ to be a floor spacer 3 point shooter while simultaneously thinking it’s impossible to develop some go to post moves.
True, short sited to think they can't develop his handle as well pushing him into a point center role. I think once he develops his handle and short game, he's a nightly trip dub.

Up 3-1 and avoided ligament tear but Ant is out at least a couple weeks. Divincenzo done for the year.

Interesting seeing what happens next.

DC gotta stay in the lab this summer, this is hard to watch
He did a lot of big numbers against bottom of the West that was dumping. Good experience for him to see what the playoffs look like, he's still not there. Plays slow.

Lining up perfectly for Jokic to save face with a 3-1 comeback, I'll assume they'll win game 5 to force 6. Minnesota will throw everything into winning that Game 6 at home

He had plenty of good games against playoff teams in the 2nd half, including the Spurs and against Minn/Gobert. He's just not a playoff player at this point in his career, playoffs and regular season basketball are worlds apart. This series is providing a good audit and what needs to be addressed this offseason.

Steph hurt his right hand, doesn't look good. Only halfway through round 1 and already the injuries have been brutal across the league

Makes you wonder why - two years running. The sports loses everything with stars hurt. Too long a reg season?

Steph back on the court but literally shaking out his injured hand while dribbling up the court

Some have been freak-like like Ant coming down awkwardly on his knee but I think all the miles adding up are probably a factor in all of these achilles injuries we're seeing

Looks like Splitter pulled the plug on these DC minutes after the latest clanked 3

Castle playmaking great but he gets his hand caught in the cookie jar too much on D. 5 fouls
Yup. I'm not confident his jumper ever really develops to a point it's really effective. He has a funky touch on this shot - looks too muscled/short. For all the reasons he's a bull defensively and so strong with the ball will be the reason he's unlikely to ever be a real reliable shooter.

It almost reminds of of Malachi's - short, snap kind of shot - no elegance in it like a SGA.

Clingan is 2-10. 8 missed shots and 5 of them are threes. Yikes. Really rough first postseason performance from him but it’ll be a good experience long term. Blazers are ahead of schedule and no shame getting bounced by the Spurs this year

Castle is 3-6 from three and 2-7 from two lol. Didn’t expect that! He’s been lighting it up recently. 42.3% from three in 14 March games on 3.7 attempts per game. 40% in April so far on 3.8 shots per game.

I don't like that nonsense by Steph. Let your game do the talking.
Eh, Castle gets T'd for lightly putting the ball in Dev's chest after a hard and one on Dev. I've seen worse.

That 24 team was a pack of dogs. Cam & Steph will be the best BA duo we'll ever see.

haha I disagree, I just posted how I loved it.

Not necessarily that I loved he got into it, but he barely did anything. He got hacked 5x on one play and finished an and 1 by placing the ball on the dude - he was waiting to explode and that's what Steph creates.

I love the silent agitator, it's not his problem he's frustrating to play against.

Usually I can figure out the acronyms but I have no idea what BA means here

His jumper has been great for like 3 months lol
