They questioned if he was on the wrong side of the foul line running to first. Bi would have been furious if they overturned it as I saw three times in different games over this past weekend where the umps overlooked it when the runner was in fair territory.

I actually said at one point over the weekend "I guess this is no longer a rule in college baseball".

In all the years I have been watching baseball I have never seen a 3 base error on a strike out. They challenged that the runner was out of the box.

There are not many 1 seeds I would be confident in this UConn team beating, but I sprinkled a little on +250 when I saw the line down here in Tennessee. OU is beatable

Top 4th, Tammaro gets a leadoff single. Morton gets a 1 out 2 run homer. 2-0 UConn.

Top 4th, with 2 out, Minick strikes out, but this ends up being a wild pitch, and then a throwing error on the catcher puts Minick at 3B. Dalena follows with a 2 run homer, 4-0 UConn.

Same. Think I've seen a 2 base error in the pros before, but nothing like this!

If you follow college baseball regularly, you will see a lot of odd things happen. The game is not played to perfection on the college level, that's for sure.

We need 18 outs. Can Van Emmon give us 2 more good innings? Are Cooke and Quinn available tonight? How long would they let Afthim go?

One out at a time. And more amenities will be allowed.

Synder looks like a next level player. Both sides of the ball. Gotta give props when they are due.

Bottom 4th, Van Emon has a scoreless inning, leaving a runner on base. 4-0 UConn. Van Emon at 58 pitches.
